Marina Sq under renovation.

So sianz~ Last wk went 2 e education fair at Suntec, den my hubby park his bike at Marina Square carpark. We walked 2 e front entrance but it was under renovation. So we crossed e rd oppo over 2 Suntec loh... Wah damn crowded...
When wanna go bk tat time, walked our usual route but didnt noe almost e whole bldg was under renovation! Made a hude detour n end up walkin across The Oriental 2 e carpark...
Everywhere was blocked n all e shops were gone. Watz happenin...? Walked such a big round til i tired... If we knew we would haf juz cross e rd outside Suntec... -
Under going some major revamp.
The GV cinema is still open tho. -
upgrading...wonder if the shops got vote for the upgrading or not???

oni level 1 undergoing reno.....most shops shift to upper levels.....and still in business..... -

Went there yesterday....the renovation really cause a lot of inconvenience....walk to a lot of pls and found dead ends..shops gone.....food court gone...... some pl got no air con...very off leh...eat Delifrance and went over to Suntec very packed....then left e pl...waste carpark fee.....

I was also there on Tuesday (01 June), to watch a movie there. In some parts of the building, one has to get out into the open air walkway.
Changi Airport T2 is also undergoing renovation. Went there last month and I had to turn here and there. -

The Oriental, Marina Mandarin and Pan Pacific hotels existed from 1987 or before. They were first indicated on the 1988 street directory. Marina Square was only indicated from the next edition (1991). my company now doing the aircon for marina square.. seems like they are going for big maintenance.. i go there see the aircon ducts all dirty like as if people shit inside! O_O"
And the architectural also change liaox.. so hopefully can see a brand new marina sq after the renovation. ^_^

Not the case for me. I just took a bus, alighted opposite the cineplex (the bus stop before Esplanade), cross the road and walk up the stair to the entrance of the cineplex.
