Buddhist Monks got caught...

...just now as I was coming back, saw mi house downstairs got police...
2 monks were seated on the floor and questioned by the policemen...
Sounds like a case of fraud and cheat again...
Policemen were asking them if there were only 2 of them....then one ah pek told mi pple complained that they saw these 2 monks driving car and yet go around asking pple for money...
Then this morning also a man came up to me to ask for $2 ....claiming he is jobless and needs the $$$ to eat...
Seems to hav a lot of these incidences nowadays....

Some of them even earn alot when they perform rituals in the temples... got once mi accidentally give wrong angpow (supposed to be $12, but gave the $2 one wrongly)...the nun showed mi black face somemore...

Lotsa these so-called monks are from PRC who comes to cheat singaporeans money. Because of their mainland accent, many people thought they're real monks from shaolin or some temples and gave them money, or buy things from them.
I guess that at most a monk ask for is food, they shouldnt be going around asking for money or selling stuff. -
