regardless of the main purpose of the joint acct, it actually helps a bit of saving up every month

I guess the best way to save is make it mandatory
For me, i took up a savings plan ( you can check it out wif the banks or Insurance companies) quite a flexible one i would say.
In this way, i can spend wateva excesses i have in hand .. And still save. (coz my plan isn't too rigid, i can still withdraw cash when i need $$ urgently) -
actually joint a/c is not a bad idea lar..
