it is not a must... but it is recommended... cos it deletes away all the stuff tat u unknowingly kept in ur com everytime u surf net... at the same time... u can erase all those programmes u never use for decades... thus freeing up disc space...Originally posted by shan_cai:Ya loh... i format my hard disk every 1/2 a year. scare got unknown virus n to remove those deleted programs which took up space. Dun follow my method. it takes about half an hour to one hour to make a ghost copy or to restore a ghost copy. -
