talking face to face is better... you get to see their eye contact and facial expressions.. EVen if quarrelling.. Try not to use SMS/irc/icq.. If there's a need to talk things out.. Why cant meet out somewhere sit down and have a pleasant talk? Afraid to face to the party? YOu need to face the reality and go ahead..
Sometimes SMS/icq do "cock-up" sometimes... Thru SMS is a waste of time and money.. Your fingers will tired after all.. And you simply JUs wan to stop SMSing -

nothing owuld be much more better to tok face to face
why?
first you can see each other, second you cannot avoid it cos he/she is just standing in front of you.
if on fone/ sms, the other part can just simply engage the fone, or avoiding sms, off the hp etc....
you know what i chose lah
