My boss says that I am unproductive aft my leave!

I have accumulated a lot of leave recently and I started to take leave.
My boss seldom object when I took leave.
I applied leave recently and my boss approved it very quickly.
Then he laughingly told me that whenever I take leave and return, I become unproductive. I catch his message, although he was laughing.
I am quite confused.
Am I supposed to be more hard working after I take leave?
Imagine I become more productive aft my leave each time, can you imagine how farking hard working I will be at the end of the year??!
Is it fair to ask your men to work harder when they return from leave? The sun cannot be shinning everyday u know... -
Was your boss an ex SAF regular?
