The resort I went to sucks!!
Just take note. Salang Beach, at the north of Tioman Island. SUCKS!!
All the resort & restaurant at that beach sucks. There are 9 to 10 beaches on Tioman Island and each have abt 4 to 5 resorts. So out of 45 to 50 resorts on Tioman Island, I tried the fark type one
It is meant for backpackers who are very keen on sea activities. The lodging there are kampong style huts by the beach. No TV or heater. The cheapest type is fan only in a very small hut. The ang moh backpackers really can take it well.
Ours lucky got air-con. You will have housefiles and cats as full time companions! They make sure you are not alone.
The food there? Mee goreng is the fastest. The rest is 30 mins to 1 hour wait. They just take their own sweet time. We waited 30 mins to tell us they dun have the ingredients.
Its is only good if u wan to see marine life and fark care service.
So if u go Tioman to enjoy a proper stay, go to Vajaya Hotel resort. Its really Hotel standard. Just pay a little more.
The next one I gonna try Rawa Beach. Looks good when we went past on the speed boat.
