  A few nights ago I also dreamt I threw my dog down.
  
  But It was more like I dangled him out of the window to see his reaction then he looked down and started struggling and I dropped him.
  
  I woke up feeling very guilty and disgusted.

  Well hope you don't mind i decipher your dream, The 17 storey represent your cognition, your ambition, your own judgement & your own expectation. The Chubby White cat represent your untainted pure Old Self which by throwing it down, you are letting go of your old Self to become a new you by making certain choice or decision that will make a dramatic change in your Life however currently you are perhaps in a phase of your Life which is not so lucky in many aspects of it.
