wasn't there last week, but these were definitely better than the first week's, USA team. but apparently they had to change to wet weather programme, so not as good. no idea wat it means to have a "wet weather fireworks programme"...Originally posted by Estee:the fireworks were definitely nicer than last week's..... thumbs up for the pics too jOhO~~
hey bro, long time no see man! hope u been good and thanx too! wah u got office to watch from, next time must go ka-jiao you to let me go in to take from high ground. i refuse to pay for a hotel room just to shoot fireworks. unless of course i have OTHER plans for booking the room.Originally posted by JLennon:great shots dude!! btw other than taking a ride from someone on the highway, what's the best route to take if you wanna walk up the bridge?
this was waaaaaaay better than last week's (the works i mean, not the fotos ). i was lucky to be able to watch from the comfort of the office.
heehee........ i was with the EH outing group..... sat quite near embassy..... at first was the crowd was ok...... then alot alot of people gathered..... but was worth the wait bah..... nice nice....Originally posted by jOhO:wasn't there last week, but these were definitely better than the first week's, USA team. but apparently they had to change to wet weather programme, so not as good. no idea wat it means to have a "wet weather fireworks programme"...
it's like when we're in the army, and it's raining, we change our weapon to fire "for wet weather conditions"?
so u were there?
can u believe i was ALONE? ahhaha.. so ke lian rite? anyway my ex-gf and her hubby and about 6 of her frens met me there, decided to stand next to me to see.
using carrefour as a ref point.. exit from suntec, walk towards the bus stop in the direction of sheares bridge.Originally posted by JLennon:great shots dude!! btw other than taking a ride from someone on the highway, what's the best route to take if you wanna walk up the bridge?

things have been good so far man!! should be ok smuggling you inside the building to take from high ground, next time ba! btw wat/whose/which fireworks are you shooting in the hotel room?Originally posted by jOhO:hey bro, long time no see man! hope u been good and thanx too! wah u got office to watch from, next time must go ka-jiao you to let me go in to take from high ground. i refuse to pay for a hotel room just to shoot fireworks. unless of course i have OTHER plans for booking the room.
the best way to get on sheares bridge on foot is to walk from millenia tower, up the rochor exit from ECP heading towards changi (meaning u walk against the flow of traffic).
wait..... i think its the same suggestion as joho.... i'll try it the next time!Originally posted by sillyme:using carrefour as a ref point.. exit from suntec, walk towards the bus stop in the direction of sheares bridge.
after you walk past the bus stop, keep you eyes on the left.there'll be a flight of stairs to climb up to sheares bridge..
map here, star shows approx placement of stairs
oh THOSE fireworks? aiyah dun say so loud... shy lar!Originally posted by JLennon:things have been good so far man!! should be ok smuggling you inside the building to take from high ground, next time ba! btw wat/whose/which fireworks are you shooting in the hotel room?
i was so afraid you will suggest walking from milenia tower. i think silly has a better alternative.
