unless u get a really REALLY clear day, as in the air is clear, not foggy or watever, then u'll get a nice photo. otherwise there's not much contrast in the pics.. which is wat u want. as for the exposure, well u're gonna get slightly burnt skies if it's all white and cloudy, if it's a nice blue and the sun is behind you (for the 12 apostles part GOR that would be in the morning), then u'd be able to shoot nice shots. or, u could go with the silhouette look and do sunsets, the sun will be on the left of the stones, in front of u.Originally posted by bismarck:damn..always cock up my GOR photos..either heavily under or over exposed

wah.. violent reaction man...
no i didn't surgirize the rainbow, just the usual contrast and brightness editing. no amout of surgery can make something so beautiful. somemore.. the colours have to be accurate, the whole spectrum is there! how to fix? hehehe

wat else did u want to know? oh the concave pics.. yeah that's a fisheye lens.. my fren had it.. so i kapok and take a few pics. very hard to use that lens...
How is it possible for your digi to set shutter up to 6min????

yeah, all slrs should have bulb setting, where u can leave the shutter open for as long as u want, provided u got enuff battery. for those full manual mechanical cams (requiring no batts), yeah it can be up FOREVER... literally. ahhahahha..Originally posted by M©+square: How is it possible for your digi to set shutter up to 6min????

so i just use a cable release to lock the shutter down, argar argar the timing with my watch and close the shutter after that. the blue sky is becos it's like the sun making the sky blue, except the moon is producing much much less light than the sun, hence needing a long exposure. however the long exposure captures the movement of the clouds, which i guess forms the impact for this image. -

You're using your D-Cam? Or A Convent SLR?

ok... this is wat i'm using...
an SLR (which is why i can leave the shutter open etc etc) but it is ALSO digital.. hence it's called a dSLR.
instead of loading film at the back, it's got a CCD sensor.
it's essentially an SLR, just that the "paste" a sensor at the back where the light is meant to hit the film. of course it's more complicated then that.. but simply put.. it's like that only..
for ur info, my s2pro is based on the nikon f80, which is a film SLR. -

i really like the one where u captured the FULL rainbow but the rest are really jus as equally mesmerising.
will be going there in june.. hopefully i will get to see the rainbows too but its gonna be the change of seasons so a bit hard i guess..
but dun think my fotos will turn out as nice as urs. sigh
nminds i shall capture the sights in my mind.
