  Seeing so many threads on help on buying digital cameras. I've compiled a list of URLs that might be helpful

  Ok, I admit I have really read the websites I provided thoroughly. But I think most shouldn't have much problems (maybe too much info )
  
  Personally, I'd recommend to get your cameras from John 3:16 at Funan 3rd level. You can also try from Cathay Photo Equipment at Peninsular.
  
  Feel free to add in other tips that maybe helpful.

  yeah many questions about digicams, and the best thing is that the models update so quickly.. my other cam is less than a year old and it's been superceeded TWICE already...

  mine? u mean the new one? well it's gonna get superseeded soon to an s3pro.. might wait for that to become available second hand and have two bodies, one for back up, probably get it when the model is at least a year old.

  i was thinking wht kind of criteria shld a person consider when buying a cam.
  
  Q1 what type of photographer are u?
  leisure or training to go professional?
  
  Q2 budget ( mother or all questions)
  if u are a average man in the street, save up. just like most of us
  if u are a millionaire, buy anything that looks nice/recommended and/or really rocks
  if u are a billionaire, buy with yr eyes closed.BOTH
  
  Q3 what kind of pictures do u take?
  for design or for showing online and/or printing to 4r size only.
  that will determine how many megapixels u need for yr cam.
  a 2MP is enuf for taking 8R max
