Shot today at the zoo... no.. not animal, er.. well technically yeah they're animals..
some of the shots were using a $3000 lens... *STEAM******
borrowed from a fellow photographer... i came multiple times using that lens, not from looking at the subjects.
*sigh* wat a SWEET SWEET SWEET lens.
if anyone's interested it's the afs 70-200/2.8VR if ed

generally portraiture can bring out a person's character. it can also alter it such that the look is NOTHING like wat the person is really like..
go figure.. i'm still learning.. -
wah so experienced, photography is so expensive, me poor student can't afford the developing cost, and i don't have negative scanner sigh, can't even go and practise much. No digital cam thou i have a nikon F60

yeah photog is not a cheap hobby, be it film or digital. these shots were shot on digital... and yeah.. NOT CHEAP.
the lens i used was not mine, i can't afford it... YET. -
oh btw.. i'm not experienced man.. this is my first formal portrait shoot...

yeah.. sounds like you have to knock off a few banks and hold up a pawnshop or two to afford the stuff...

i very scared of portrait shoots liaoz.
that time i took ard 40 shots of a in-house model, ends up, when she requested to view some of the photos...i got only 2 photos tat didnt have any errors.
and they suck....
ends up.....totally sibei damn sia suay -

i've had alot of tips and help from the pple that organised this model shoot, don't be afraid to come out and ask as many questions as u can! most photographers are only to happee to share/boast of their skill to u!

Wah.. That one I will treasure man.
Next time I expire liao sure will use that shot. -

btw.. that lens not the 3k lens.. it's my own one.. few hundred only hahaha.. the 3k lens i used to shoot these portraits were borrowed from a fellow photographer that day.
anyway.. who else viewing this thread? i'm gonna take the link down soon.. eheh lucky my title not that eye catching.. not many pple come in yet.. perhaps only those that like to see my photos.
