  btw.. i just acquired the same lens as u... 17-35 tokina. becos i'm using digital i'm gonna have to get a step down from 82 to 77, since i still won't get vignetting even at 77mm. 82mm filters are just too ex.

  yeah man, great fun! just that i upgraded my cam and to take macros now i need macro lenses, while my old cam (being a digicam) had this function "built in".
  
  thing is.. i dun have macro lenses at the moment.. so no more macros for a while.
