Loud flash?

  I m new to digicams, but I think the flash on my digicam sounds a bit loud, is it normal?

  hmm... wat do u mean by loud....? usually small inbuild flashes shouldn't be that audible, but external ones will have a... urm.. clicking or "bursting" sound when the flash fires...

  my digicam is Olympus X250... think the flash is in-built... & ya, the "bursting" sound is qt loud, is it normal?
  cos i bought at SITEX, didn't open to test when i got it.

  well if my bigger ext flash can make that sound, i dun see why a smaller one can't.. just the i haven't heard any sound from my own built in flash.
  
  not to worry, think should be no problem. take more photos then u'll know lor! eheh.. and dun forget, to claim warranty, if u need to, u need to have ur receipt.

  can it be because of the cam making the sound ?
  my cam(panasonic) makes this cheesy sound when u take a pic, just like the GD88.
  my friend's sony cam also makes this sound.annoying...
