i think i'll give the 300d a miss. and also there's a rumour of it's rival the nikon d70 so that'll be interesting too... -

i like nikon too.
but i long way to go...b4 dslr comes my way...

i've read a few reviews comparing the two cams.. the general concensus is that canon produces better out of cam pics, but if u know wat u're doing in ps (or other photo editing software) the d100 will be more powerful?? man no idea lar.. i'll research more when the time comes.
oh one up for 10d, it has a better burst/continuous mode. bigger buffer i think? -

well if i need the power.. i'll have to go for the 550, but yeah most pple are good with the 420.
