i like the sepia toned house pic.. the sky looks a bit brighter and with a haunting feel..
and i agree with choco about the 'rubbish' pic.. the subject is not appealing enough? probably if taken with your title in mind.. perhaps a wide lens can be use to include more of the background to emphasize on the isolation? or include motion around the rubbish while it stands still on it's own..
hope it's constructive feedback
