wow.. thanx everyone!!
hong: hard to caption leh.. there's only one that i would really caption, or rather give it a title, it's my favourite shot in the series. i'd call it "Chatting Fairies". can u guess which one?
bear: yeah i was already happy before i went shooting! i think i've been cooped up within 4 walls all week, it does things to u. once i got out, i felt like a child on an excursion! i mean... botanic gardens, of all places?? ehehhe.
neon: thanx man!
pool.gal: thanx girl. what do u hope to get real soon? "them" somemore? orchids har?
beanie: thanx, but dun say as usual leh.. very pressure one..
btw, hope u had a good trip!
spencer99: no reflectors used this time, couldn't be bothered bringing it ahha! the lighting was really good, bright but cloudy. i'm using digital, so the blue cast was not much a problem at a WB setting on cloudy setting or using a white card to get a custom setting. some of the shots are cropped slightly to frame it better, and plus i shoot in 4:3 format but prefer to display in 3:2 (prints come out mainly in 3:2 as well) so i will definitely need cropping. the last shot was a macro, shot at around 120-160mm (equivalent) from a distance of about 4cm? that photo wasn't cropped except for converting it to 3:2 and resize of course.
lens is just the 35-280mm (equiv) on my cp5700. not using SLR.
btw can anyone recognise our national flower?? heheh there's one photo of it, i HAD to put it up, but IMHO i dun think it's very unattractive..
