photoshop.
select out the part i wanted to stay in colour, make it a new layer, and desaturate the rest of it underneath. -

saw another pic, where the photographer blended i think 3 exposures together, the left side taken in broad daylight, then it blends to evening, then at nite. was a shot of our CBD.
he had to keep his tripod there for at least 3 hours.. 5pm, 630pm, 8pm, my estimates.. -
