question on cybershot(sony)

can some one tell me if i take photo with cybershot cam then it will store in memory stick right?then when i want to print the photo out, can i go to those photo shop to print out the photo? -

but is more ex la.... develop fee is ard $5.50.. dan each pic is ard 40cts.. heheee... -
the going rate for a 4R print is around 30c a copy. just give them a CD of the photos u want to print.

One thing must take note lah, cos u are giving them the memory stick to develope. Anything happen to the memory stick while developing, think the photo shops will not hold responsibilities.Originally posted by jOhO:yeah some shops can do that.. better to check with them first.
Mine is CF card...but I always store in CD RW. Actually haven try printing yet. My lao pok cam only 2megapixel leh. The largest I can go is 4R rite? Any bigger will run the risks of seeing "square square" or not ah? -

yes if u are printing a size too big for the dimensions of the photo.
for example some ppl say u want to print 4R? pic size must be 1024x768 pixels. but if u take pic at 640x480 and print 4R,then u will see squares,or rather,pixels.

So Take pictures at higher resolution is still better if wan the pictures to be printable in bigger size.

4R size is 6" by 4" which is a ratio of 3:2, so NONE of the above resolutions are good ahahah, if u give them the pics in those resolutions, they will either crop off to 3:2 ratio, or print until there'll be white gaps, where they'll fit the longest side onto the paper, then u crap the white parts off urself.
so, if i were to print 4R i will resize to a 3:2 ratio and make the size 6"x4". hence i will make the picture 1800x1200 becos i want/like 300dpi. those figures will gimme exactly 6"x4"
however u don't have to use such a high resolution, anything around 150dpi is still very good. just give them the highest then u can afford. that should be ok.
