must have been a really clear cloudless nite too.. NOTHING is reflecting off the sky.

post processing..hehe..cropped a lot (quite obvious rite =P)
then adjusted contrast a bit..hehehe
no reflection off the sky meh? can see the clouds..n in some pics..the smoke from the fireworks is quite obvious rite? -

clouds not really leh, maybe ur framing zhun zun no clouds where the fireworks are. smoke of course have lar.. that one different.
cos clouds can give some really ugly reflections sometimes..

the timing and the height of the fireworks were very unpredictable..
had to keep adjusting my tripod to frame the fireworks properly..
yah..think the sky was rather clear that night
and maybe its the way the launched the fireworks..before launching those big ones, they made sure they waited for a while for the sky to clear..then u can see the "rocket" fly up into the sky very clearly..then poom!~! hehehe
the whole thing lasted 1 and a half hrs..
just hope they dun rush through the fireworks during NDP..launching all the fireworks at 1 shot..if not its going to get all smoky and it will be difficult to get the pics.. -

just that i won't go anyway becos i dun have long enuff zooms, can't use tripod, so need fast lenses, which i dun have, and... i probably cannot get a press pass to get at ground level. i could try tho! dunno my lobang how powerful... -

wait till u see my crappy fireworks shots (will be taking them on sat). i dun have such high hopes since it's my first time doing fireworks.
that is if i even get to take any pics..
bit busy at the moment.
