  the race started of t 5.30am.. flagged off by Lt-Gen (ret) Winston Choo.. our team started off well.. when we reach the end the first leg.. we were 5th.. went into the kayaks.. came out 3rd... went off the archery.. did well.. then we lost a lot off time at the pioneering section where we had to build a makeshift bridge... by end of that segment we left off on the bicycle leg in 16th position... during the race back, we were actually leading.. but one of my boys fell on his bike.. the other teams caught up.. but thank God.. the boys didn't give up.. alas, we finished the race in 4th position!! nearly cried of happiness... at the end of the day.. the 2nd position was disqualified because they lost their scorecard... and we were 3rd!!.. i guess all the sleep lost was well worthed it

  Hey that sounds fun! btw Lt-Gen Choo's still doin stuff like that? He was there to send our team off for the pioneer OBS-I collaboration. My goodness, that was a lil over 10 yrs ago..

  yeah.. brought my camera along and snapped while i had time.. no many chances to go to such places and take pictures... sleeping in a lorry on a rainy day.. haha.. experience of a lifetime..

  Sounds like quite a fight - ups and downs through out the race. But that made victory all the more sweeter! What'd you win?

  No lar. How else can you display your physical prowess in front of the gals. I'm sure the work was paid off by admiring glances bestowed.

  Yup will be in late today..... as in very late!!!!! arrgghhhh
  YTry like after 11pm kinda thing. Coz theres like four meetings this week and everything's last min so tat the expats can go for their summer vacation in peace.....
  But the gd thing is tat i get next week off for all my hard work this week
  Not too bad a bargain i suppose.....

  grant not my leave.... i shd hv used all those up by now coz i went on a one and a half mth hol in aussie juz a few mths back.... hee hee. One thing abt this place they're pretty gd with their leave allowances....
