not frozen, only at the wet market... but at NTUC, more hygenic i would think...
takes some time to defrost... depending on how you want to defrost them...
under running water, it's pretty quick, but waste a lot of water...
marinating chicken, try to let the marinate soak in over 24 hours.. else the chicken quite tasteless...

i oni scare i dun hv enuf time to de-froze them... cos i will be buyin on fri nite, de-frozen, marinate n bbq on sat liao...
so i suggest to my fren tat maybe i will buy the chicken on thurs,
dan fri ask her mum to de-froze ealier b4 we get to her hse aft wk to marinate.. will b easier ma... but she refuse to listen.. haizzz..

cheat... you got a microwave? can use the "defrost" setting...
i find that you use running water, then after they are separated, you submerge inside a tub of water and nuke under the "defrost setting", they become warm pretty quickly

Raw meat left outside too long also spoil leh. Didn't know that to prepare a meal you gotta take days. Can you take a short cut - marinate beforehand and also buy those BBQ/char siew sauce thingies to spread on while BBQing ?

well.. nothing unusual except the rites and praying..
the race started of t 5.30am.. flagged off by Lt-Gen (ret) Winston Choo.. our team started off well.. when we reach the end the first leg.. we were 5th.. went into the kayaks.. came out 3rd... went off the archery.. did well.. then we lost a lot off time at the pioneering section where we had to build a makeshift bridge... by end of that segment we left off on the bicycle leg in 16th position... during the race back, we were actually leading.. but one of my boys fell on his bike.. the other teams caught up.. but thank God.. the boys didn't give up.. alas, we finished the race in 4th position!! nearly cried of happiness... at the end of the day.. the 2nd position was disqualified because they lost their scorecard... and we were 3rd!!.. i guess all the sleep lost was well worthed it Originally posted by choco B:Thanks.
