  it is for the first few times.. as they clear up the mess in your feet, after a few times, not painful anymore... however, if you just recover from illness and go, be prepared for intense pain...

  the one i love dearly and passionately is petrified... went a few times, and each time, says it's the last time.. painful..
  
  strangely, when i first got my feet done, it was by this guy who does martial arts.. felt my feet and told me that my back was pretty messed up as a lot of "blockage" there...
  
  then showed me by rubbing that part... not painful at all but damned near passed out... became pale... he said that it was badly blocked for years.. and if he forced the "qi" through, i'd have blacked out.. he did a little bit only

  yup, the bangkok ones are real cheap but am not sure if they are as good as the one you visit in Singapore.
  But it sure feels great after a day's shopping. I felt like i can walk another 10km after the reflexo.

  it's when you start... give it about 2 months of weekly treatments, you'll hardly feel pain anymore...
  
  in the beginning, your feet will feel pretty swollen, but as you go on, it's actually very relaxing...
  
  but then, don't take my word for it... i've got an unreasonably high threshold for pain

  i m not sure if it's the same here as Bangkok's. But i do confirm tat on the very 1st time, it's so painful i wanted to jump out of the chair. Am glad i persevered cuz after the 1st few sessions, gosh, i can really fall asleep during the sessions
