For assam soup, she uses baby squids wif lotsa chilli, taste almost like tomyam -

my mom isn't exactly nyonya.. but she cooks squid with assam.. turns out quite sweet and sour... the squid becomes very very tender...
the duck? lots of kiam chye but have to soak it for a while to remove the saltiness of it.. best to use the "sour" version of the kiam chye.. the "assam skin" which looks like dried thinly sliced mini apples.. lots of it.. preserved sour prune (in liquid), lots and lots of tomatoes... so the soup is sour... also to mask the "duck smell"Originally posted by skinnybeanie:wat time is the show on? sounds good.

My point is, how many people actually fantasise and question WHY you always meet a stranger around the office building - if you're working in the same area you're bound to meet wat. So if you want her to take notice of you, you gotta do more than just follow her around. I saw that Romeo show before too. It's on Arts Central on some week night. The traditional way of cooking is quite interesting, like extracting colour from flowers, etc.
