what job requires u to be on call for 24 hrs? insurance? i leave my mobile on through the nite in case anyone calls.Originally posted by skinnybeanie:during off peak times like now, i lead healthier social lives. At peak, i usu work till 7pm and am still on call 24hrs. Which means i get woke up in the middle of the nite when most of the singaporeans are zzz-ing. But i'm used to tat, so i'm cool abt that.

[b]You Belong To Me - Bob Dylan
See the Pyramids
Along the Nile
Watch the sun rise
On a tropic isle
Just remember darling
All the while
You belong to me...
See the market place
In old Algiers
Send me photographs
And souvenirs
Just remember
'Til your dream appears
You belong to me....
I'll be so alone
Without you
Maybe
You'll be lonesome, too
And blue
Fly the ocean
In a silver plane
See the jungle
When it's wet with rain
Just remember
Till you're home again
You belong to me...
I'll be so alone
Without you
Maybe
You'll be lonesome, too
And blue
Fly the ocean
In a silver plane
See the jungle
When it's wet with rain
Just remember
Till you're home again
You belong to me...

haiz, talk about micromanage.. our top top man on the floor even goes round each desk (tats almost 120 workstations) during weekends to check who didnt off their monitor. I was one of the unlucky ones. Wah kaoz...Originally posted by the Bear:boss is good
as long as productivity remains unaffected, he does not care
another boss last time, wah.. people wanted to strangle him... loved to micromanage.. ended up with low productivity, low morale, low quality work...
now much better... we can manage ourselves.. give work, a deadline, we always manage and usually before schedule
my mum thinks it should be overnight rice cuz freshly cooked rice has got more moisture in it and when fried, tends to get mushy.Originally posted by JLennon:saw that mtv. thought i was watching the chinese version of Stomp.
he's right. good fried rice is not easy (as i have attempted many times). my fren told me that the best fried rice is made if you use freshly cooked rice but a lot of others think that it should be overnight rice. what do u all think?
