today didn't go and take pics.. rain all day! tomorrow hopefully we have clear skys. really wanna take the harbour with super blue skies.
the babes are comin!!!! doing a photo montage (or watever u call it) of all the people shots that i took in market/pitt st (city) yesterday.

i'm using a nikon coolpix 5700. nite shots have to use tripod
just go grab a map from town and walk around! heheh that's wat i did, and then go to circular quay and look at the ferry timetable and maps to see where the ferries can take u. i'll prob be doing that tomorrow. -
too bad it rained today there.. it's also rainy here but definitely nowhere as cold as there
still thinking about getting a cam in a couple of months' time

the rain actually does produce many wonderful opportunities for photo taking becos of the reflections from the road and puddles of water. but aiyah... too miserable to go out there with a tripod and umbrella.. then i have to take a bus to town and get mugged about 3 times and thankfully i still held on to my flash card, but they got my cam...

how do you do something like the montage? blank then stick assorted pics on it?
i'm still stuck in office.. my turn to lock up the place at 6:30.. hope someone's still around by then, then i can palm the keys off to them

i used photoshop.. use a blank new document and then start opening the pics one by one and dragging the layer into the blank document. then slowly resize and cut and put them all together. it's great when the seperate pics still stay on their own layers so i can manipulate them seperately, incl the colour and levels and all those. but i did minimal editing to the pics, so many to paste, too little time! ehheheOriginally posted by the Bear:very nice

yeah main thing about photographing in rain is of course, keeping the camera dry.
