  anytime someone starts any discussion, a few of the long-time denizens would jump in and start turning it into their personal flamewar...
  
  soon, nothing could be recognised in there.. the same few destructive idiots would bully newbies, hound anyone who had anything sane to add, and flame everyone... then they started to try and pry into the other denizens' private lives, things like that...
