Panoramic view from my window this morning!

  had to really fight with the barrel distortion and stitched in PS.
  
  love the blue sky, would be better with a polarizer, which i'll be getting this week!

  hmm no this direction is more like facing SW or SSW... and this was taken in the morning.
  
  i guess i can take a pic with the setting sun, but then the buildings will all be dark becos it's backlit. in this photo the sun is behind on my left so lights up the building nicely.
  
  i'm gonna take the same pics again one morning when the sky is quite clear like this, with the polarizer which i'm getting in the next few days.. then u can see the diff liow... can't wait!!

  most comsumer cameras can definitely take this shot, just need the technical know how to stitch them together i guess..

  hm.. but i still quite skeptical abt taking shoots wif digital cam.. i stil prefer the good old film cameras for good shots.

  i'd be mangling pictures and sending them to the fark.com photoshop contests
  
  as for pictures, when i need to take, i borrow the Mavica from the office.. not many people use it and it's in my cabinet after all

  but i guess each has it's pros and cons. for me i just dun wanna spends heaps on film, that is AFTER learning the differences between film and slide and all the RANGE of films available...

  hehe yeah photoshop, but there are software out there that can do it automatically. for this shot it didn't work with the software that i usually use becos of the nearness of the objects and each seperate pic was quite distorted compared to another. so i did it manually in ps.

  besides, when digital cams were used for official purposes, end up a lot of problems with flash cards and whatnots....
  
  when it was time for my section to get, i just got this one for the section... makes life easier as almost everyone has a CD-ROM drive on their PC..
  
  thinking of getting a Sony cam... this notebook i'm typing on has a memory stick slot and all the programs necessary which are totally compatible with Sony things

  hmm i dun seem to hear much problems with digital cams, when it comes to media. like the camera failiing to write a picture properly to the flash card.
  
  sony seems really popular nowadays. but i haven really had much experience with them. hehe but digital is just so convenient. read from another forum that there's a site there sells stock photography, and half an hour into a soccer match they already uploaded pics of that match to be sold. i dun think film could do that.
  
  and if u're worried about quality, there are now 14mp dSLRs for you to oogle over.

  "uhh.. i've got no flash card reader in this PC"
  
  "%##^ like that how? bloody presentation this afternoon!"
