your camera is fab! i always believe that in order to take fab pictures, you must have an excellent camera and phototaking-instinct..you joined any competition yet?

taking pics for competition usually has a theme. so far i'm more of those kind that "the shots find me" or i'm lucky to be that at the right time, rather than a person that goes out to "look for a shot". in competitions gotta really think hard about how to create a theme in a creative way and stuff like that.
one recent competition (which i "didn't have time" to join!) was based on a theme of "lifelong learning"... a few friends and i racked our brains and came up with photographing old pple still trying to learn something, like an old trishaw rider resting in his trishaw when there's no business reading an "idiot's guide to english" book, u know that type of thing. not easy to think of somehing like that, and even harder to get a trishaw rider to pose for me, unless maybe i pay him. ehehhe. point is, heaps more planning to be done.
