good question, it depends on why you'd miss that someone, is it because you're feeling inadequate about yourself, or you genuinely miss that someone being around you and making life seem a better place just by his/her being there?
perhaps you'd know that somebody is the right one for you (now) but people change, situations change. how can you be so sure that person is the right one for you a few years down the road? do you know yourself so well that you can commit to something like that?
i think it's singapore that makes us boring.. it's not encouraged for us to be out late since we live in a chinese society don't you think?
i think that maybe we need more people like you and your friend who are spontaneous enough to want to chill out on friday nights, and who knows, maybe if you called the guys that you know, some of them might come out!
btw.. can i trade with you? i'd rather have sweet popcorn than the buttery salt-laden shit they serve here...

I went for a movie with my best friend, watched 'Anger management', after that we were walking from Cineleisure to Tanglin Mall, all the way talking... We realised that we didn't really know much guys, and even the guys we knew, none were the kind who would just come out and meet us at 12 am to just hang... I'm sure if we were overseas, our friends would be more than willing to jump out of their houses to meet us on a Friday night!! Doesn't that just show how boring guys in Singapore are?? Or is it not the people but the place? Does Singapore make us boring?
We're both 21, or rather both going to be in July, so we are allowed to feel like going out every night to party right? Or is it just that we know the wrong kind of friends? How do you know what kind of friend is right for you? Is it if they don't smoke, don't drink, don't give you bad advise? But if that's so, won't they be angels? Are friends meant to be our guardian angels??

sometimes it's not too good to keep denying urself, to keep bluffing urself about how u feel.
"zhi ji pian zhi ji" isn't the best way to deal with things. it's just a form of escaping (but of course we both know that's wat u're good at)

i'm in the US of A! weird isn't it? szehao's in NUS and he wishes he went overseas to study, i'm overseas and i wish that i was studying locally.. perhaps a mix of both is the best? or is it just that the grass seems to be greener on the other side and if i were in NUS now, i'd be wishing i was overseas too...

Actually its de exasperations u get in the NUS system tat cauz me to want to go overseas ...
Sometimes they treat u like a kid and when they dun wanna shoulder the responsibility, dey treat us like adults ...

now have to worry abt sch grades, have to worry abt not finding a good job hence cannot earn a living ... worry abt havin a life ...
