hi there! i just joined SGforums not too long ago, just like to ask where you get youre inspiration for writing from.. also, do you actually have the time to write? i got inspiration but no time to write... please guide me. thank you!

the biggest problem i have with writing stories (or drawing comics, to be more accurate) is names. i suck at names.
eg. female lead names = chocolate, kaoru, xueli
male lead names = vanilla, h'
names of other minor chars are usually names of my friends -> allan, bal, mel, hun etc etc -

well it seems u need no guidance, but rather better time management! u said u have the inspiration, just not the time to write right?
well for me, my inspiration comes from my past, introspecting, and dreaming. besides my own experiences and thoughts, i sometimes remember things that my friends tell me, their problems and joys and also incorporate that into literature.
alot of it is also imagination. many pple ask if i write true stories. i find it a compliment because it's not too far fetched to be true, but in actual fact it's a contortion of real-life experiences (often of more than one person) with imagination and ideals.
that is why i call this place the land of the free. figuratively speaking, u can do ANYTHING with a pen and paper.
now.. find the time cos i wanna read ur stuff! -
