PUI!
anyway, i'm still ranting about work
still trying to improve and try new things
i'm also waiting for the payout i'll get from the insurance, so i can purchase more equipment
sd card cheaper than cf i think, i got a 2X2gb for $130, kingston brandedOriginally posted by jOhO:ehhe congrats!!
i didn't get it becos it uses sd card....
but now contemplating the d40 just as a throw around cam.. so gotta buy sd card if i get it..
sorry 17-50Originally posted by jOhO:yeah maybe i can use cheaper brands for the throw around cam...
for my CF cannot lor.. i min use lexar 80x or extreme III... cannot afford the failure.
i ALMOST went to canon becos the 1d series has two slots, cf and sd, so each image gets saved twice, major kiasu factor. but ... neh.
tamron 17-20?
slowly lar.... ehheOriginally posted by PointBlue:sorry 17-50
i cant afford the higher priced brands
more ex by $200, but i can consider too. i've marked out some BnS threads about it.Originally posted by jOhO:slowly lar.... ehhe
think there's a sigma 18-50 too, did u try testing that?
Originally posted by jOhO:hey.. d40 releasing in dec, under 1k with a 18-55 kit lens!!!
i was thinking of buying it to bring it out on my cycling trips, but then again i think i point and shoot might suffice. altho, once u go onto dslr.. sometimes u just wish u had it was u instead of a pns.
i did contemplate a ricoh GRD once, fixed 28mm lens, with attachment it can go to 21mm which is great, but all up, it's probably gonna cost more than the d40! ahhaha.. and with my d40 i already have all my nikon lenses so no need to buy.
but.. heavy lor.... or at least heavier than the ricoh...
got change meh?Originally posted by jOhO:wah things change so much while i was away...
