I like Japan, in fact i like the sceneries from the vast lands outside Singapore. Finding something interesting to shoot is never a problem.
In Singapore, photographers face a constant challenge of finding some good spots to shoot. I would like to see how you do it in Singapore.
both these shots are inside the Singapore Turf Club, this is the place where the horses are displayed before the race.
Obviously we know where this is.... and this is boring.
I am fortunately enough to have been given opportunities to take shots not normally given to most people. The above 3 shots are unsterilized dental tools, the dark stain on the tip of the equipment are blood. I had to don protective clothing and ensure that my gear is properly clean after the shoot.
As I'd said, I dislike shooting in Singapore because, as you'd said, there lacks good location.
My other locally taken photos have too many faces.... so I cannot show them, unfortunately. -

It needs a subject though, and the background should have less clutter inside. I really like the reflections of the beach, that has a very great potential in terms of lighting.
Try to place the horizon creatively as well, rather than at the near centre of the frame

Anyone want to make a guess as to where this is?.....
Well, it's the inter-terminal monorail at KLIA. Take the front seat and set your camera to shutter priority, set it to as low as it can go, and hold still as the vehicle cruises away. This way you can paint the picture as the vehicle moves.
A little overexposed, but can't be helped. Needed to slow the shutter (again) to capture the carousel's movement. Location: KLCC.

... a seeming normal night shot.... but this is little tricky, the vertical lights on the walls of MBK is running in different sequence, I had to timed the sequence and pick the right exposure time to allow the lights to be painted onto the ccd.
