Regarding Iso and sutter speed

  Hi
  
  I'm a newbie to camera stuff. Getting a new camera soon but there some stuff that i dun understand.. Could someone explain to me what are there?
  
  what does the ISO mean in a camera? Is ISO 1000 better than ISO 200?
  
  What is a sutter speed.. example like 1/1500 and 1/1000 and 1/2000. Which is a better one?

  yea there's ISO 1000 like my cam have
  
  higher the ISO is, more grainy but brighter image

  Yes there are ISO 1000 quite rare... but i did saw it before...

  higher shutter speed is better for catching fast speed actions such as like jumping to the pool....but since faster there'll be less light hence darker image...nowadays only professional camera have manual setting of shutter speed...other kind of cams are automated...

  ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization. No its not IOS.
  
  Better ISO or not, feel free to refer to the answer by joho in the topic HERE
  
  Shutter speed is how fast your shutter opens to capture the photo. Slow shutter speed results in you sensor receiving more light and blurring. Fast shutter speed will have lesser light, but you can "freeze" your photo.
