Why do some cameras need to be ultra steady to take a photo without being blur?If u use the flash then it will be pretty clear....
its even harder to stablelise for those small and a bit slim cameras.....
i have to use a tripod to take a nice photo w/o flash...but i sometime dont bring the tripod along wif the camera..
and using the body to stablelise as the manual says is super hard for me.... -

Cameras capture light to form photographs.
The camera is able to capture more light when you use the flash.
As a result, the shutter speed, speed at which the image is registered onto the sensor, can be faster.
If the shutter speed is faster than you shaking your hand, you will not get a blur picture.
Therefore, if you have a camera which manual settings, you can choose to shoot photos at high shutter speed to minimize blue, if you have shaky hands -

and also how do u make a picture smaller so it look clearer?
like my 5 megapixel photos are large size and when u view them large it will not be so clear but when its smaller then it will be clearer. -

becoz the size is fixed to the quality i want the photo to be...
5 megapixal photo will be 2592x1944
and the lowest VGA photo will be 640x480....

using the T5...
i dont want to use lower quality photo becoz not very good even thouhg smaller -
I share the same sentiments. I use a first generation kyocera digital camera and need to be ultra steady or use a tripod.
The new generation cameras all have steady shot and all sorts of gadgets to neutralise shake, so you all don't have to worry. I was so duh when my friend who uses a brand new sony 5.5mp camera and borrow my tripod. -

I still likes the way it functions, that's why i kept it. I like using the long exposure function for night shots. I have an olympus one, but I find it so user unfriendly and it gorges down batteries like water.

I think some camera comes with their own package software for simple editing and resizing. -

when the flash turns on, as parka mentioned, more light enables a faster shutter speed. but it's kinda the other way around...
BECOS the cam knows there'll be more light, it will fix ur shutter speed at a "handholdable" speed, which is "industry standard" at 1/60s.. then the rest of the light needed will be supplied by the flash (provided 1/60 is underexposing the shot). if 1/60 is enuff, or even over exposing the shot, and auto camera will not fire the flash, of if the flash is forced to fire, it will stop down the aperture (i won't go into that here).
so, there would be times when u get a clear pic, the flash fired, but it's still dark. that's becos the flash is prob at it's max, and can't go any brighter. wat u can do then is (for auto cams) just one thing, GO CLOSER.
for manual cameras, u can set ANYTHING you want. u can have a slow shutter with flash and get some different effects with slow sync and stuff like that.
