Encoding Emotions

Words are deceptive.
Or, are emotions too rich & wild that no word can capture any fully?
Sometimes, utterances suffice.
At other more poignant times, silence speaks better than words.
Yes? No? -
silence, sometimes speaks volumes...
to stand beside, unwavering, says "i'm here for you" more than saying it will ever say...
a look into her eyes, tells of all your love, desires, lust.. all said in an instant.. where words would lose the magic of the moment...
a gesture, a tender touch, a gentle caress, a flutter of her heart because of a stolen kiss... speaks of love...
and the other end of the spectrum... a slam of the door, the silence of a broken spirit...
sometimes, words are inadequate... -
if I only judge him by his actions, maybe we would still be together now...
sometimes i wish I never asked and he never said those words...or maybe I wish he didn't mean them. Regardless of what had happened, I still want to believe that there was once a upon a time, when he did all those things for me, he really did care...

unfortunately, many, most of us live in a world, or at least, in singapore, where the "noise" drowns out the "silence"...
sad. -
and then of course.. there are pple who just can't hear the silence... no matter how quiet it is.
