Is it so hard to get a date?

  as a supporter of this forum i thought of a topic for some / most people to gripe about.
  
  I see some topics in sgforums and some people seem to have a hard time asking a girl out, some see it like they've been given a death sentence.
  
  so for discussion sake (and to promote the ratings of this forum), tell us why do u think it is so hard for you go get a date. and for the opposite, tell us why it is so easy?
  
  on a personal note, looks definately play a big part. so how 'bout those Quasimodos? look like they've been hit by a ton of bricks but they have a heart of gold. are they destined to die alone?
