I don't see the problem with O levels. It's probably your self-esteem that think you deserve a higher pay and shorter working hours. -

Take up any job even if it is low paying, try & save up. Then go & upgrade yourself. If u don't like to study, pick up a skill. Don't be discouraged, try & try again. Look for those jobs that people don't want

There is something which I'm puzzled about.
On a job advertisement, a company is looking for diploma holders with 1 to 2 years of relevant experiences to fill a position, but added that fresh diploma graduates are welcome to apply.
I applied as a fresh graduate, and emailed my resume over to the company. When I went for the interview, the interviewer told me that the company is actually looking for experienced people to fill the position, and told me that I was rejected as I do not have the experience.
If a company really want to look for experienced people, then it should not add "fresh diploma graduates are welcome to apply". Felt that the interviewer is wasting my time. So far 2 cases already.

i went for an interview with a major mobile comm coy in singapore and they ask whick mobile operator i'm with and it happens to be a competitor coy and she damn unprofessional, gave me a 5cent look.
and ask me why.

How would you feel if you go to an interview in business shirt and pants, the interviewer is in casual attire?
Recently I went for an interview in formal business attire, the interviewer is wearing T-shirt and jean. -

anyway u mentioned u are a fresh grad, how many fresh grads are there? or should i say "clones" in terms of the same education standard and lack of working exp.
they asked you for an interivew perhaps because they saw something in your resume which they could not find in other "clones" which could be anything from
salary - the lower the better ;p
location from your home to work (more prominent in jurong companies)
personal characteristics which they perceive from your resume which is favourable to the position they are hiring
they are desperate...
the reason u got rejected may be most likely that you did not match their perception and expectation, i cant really comment much unless u offer more information ;p
