A RIDE FOR SCHOOLBOY:A sudden thought came to me after reading this: shouldn't the mother warn the son not to take rides from strangers?
On April 29, my nine-year-old son missed his school bus despite running after it. A gas delivery man and his companion saw him and gave him a lift in their lorry from Jurong East to his school, St Anthony's Primary, in Bukit Gombak. My son related their kind deed to me when he returned home from school in the evening. I would like to extend my appreciation and thanks to them.
