what was ur most memorable race from ver.2 or ver.3???

mine...was in ver.2...when i just finished beating my brother and then this one guy steps in and all of his friends and girlfriends are cheering for him to challenge me...and so he does, and takes me to (Akagi DH Wet) with his silvia against my skyline R-34...so he tells me to go boost off...
like i never played it before...so it starts...all his "fans" were cheering and cheering saying that he was going to win all the way...and at the start i just exploded and just pulled him all the way to the finish line...with an advantage of 800 m...then all his friends were asking how did he lose to a newbie (but i wasn't a newbie)...then he wanted his friend to challenge me...but his friend said that he wasn't cuz my car was a skyline...and now i don't see that guy anymore...but that was a great race and memory for me

heh, version 2 i was challenged by a fella in a white-aura DC2 on Iro (i was in a 60k FD R). result was obvious, with me losing my pants. he was jeering all the way ( "oiii, why so slow??" )
i got pissed, put in another dollar and brought him to usui. i won him by about 50 metres. the look on his face was priceless.
PS: this moron later goes on to lose on Iro to a little gal driving a 130K Evo VII on AUTO TRANSMISSION. Scary.... -
My most memorable race was in ver2 when a black RX7 challenge me in Akagi UH Dry. We played Boost Off and he trashed me obviously. I challenged him at Akagi UH Wet, Boost Off. The guy crashed for the first quarter of the track then stopped his car. He said out loud to his friend, say I play dirty and challenge him to a track condition he don't know how to play and then started driving in the opposite direction. Needless to say I won with max advantage. What a poor sport. Then it became a contest of who has the most credits at Akagi UH, DH, Dry and Wet.
Edit: Oh, and Akagi UH Dry or Wet is obviously now my favourite track.

those races that u mentioned vsing lamers...haha thats how i got my flame for my 85 back in ver2....I vsed them in usui and they lost by abt 300+m...most memorable one was when i vsed my friend's FC at usui with my 85...the gap was always at 20+m all the way...super tense...one of the best matches i have ever had

haha... remember the 1 and only battle i had in V3 against someone i dunno...
i bought new car... he got DC2, got quite some points liao. see me play want to eat... then okies loh... we played shomaru... 1st time im playing shomaru...
i somehow managed to keep up with him, pressuring him all the way, until last corner he made a mistake, took an early apex n went wide... i braked late, shot down the inside, and took the win, a la F1 style.

for ver2.... it is my white rx-7 type-R... those aura DC2s challenge me at happogahara n iro thinkin that tat could trash me but in the end i won... those no sportsmanship DC2s driver i will bring them to akagi DH wet n i let them headstart b4 catchin up... i see them clash in every curves n i pass them easily from the inside... just like takumi did when he uses the gutter
as for ver3... is my red rx-8... those evo 5 n 6 drivers thought they very 'pro' n challenge me to akina snow n the 2 new maps... but i always kana trash on tuban
but i bring them to others maps n i can trash them like shit...
i'm not haolian about my skills but just to share my experience wif u guys -

Hey I just remembered another memorable race though it's from ver1.
My friend and I just started playing the game and after a while got the hang of it. Then my friend challenged me to Akina DH which we both never play before. Turns out we were playing half racing cars and half bumper cars. Anyway my friend managed to lead and I was trailing just behind him. I thought I would lose until at the last moment very near the finish line my friend didn't turn enough (last turn right near finish line) and scrape the barrier. I thought I had a chance to win and we reached the finish line at the same time. The advantage was 0.0m.
I thought it would at least be a draw.
But I still lost though. I think it's because I was catching up to him so the com take it that I was behind. Man, so close.
Anyone else got such close races where advantage is only 0.something meters? -

em,i had this experience too.
i was on Akina with my then newly bought impreza vs a veteran impreza.
He insisted with Boost Off..i was like.. "can't you see iam onli level 4?? you are at ..level 18??"
i was on the back,and this guy was like..miles away from me.
luckily,he made some mistakes at the 5 HairPins. lol~giving me chance to catch up with him.
akeke..then i took the a bit of the gutter..and over took him at the last corner to the right.
geez,the advantage was somewhere between 1m or 1.5 m
lolz.
i was kind of lucky~did not bang the side of the gutter -
me from jb also, but staying in sg at the moment. for jb, TOO MANY LAMERS. all u c is just %$&# DC2. mayb even for 6-7 few hours if u observe ppl playing in jb, all u c is dc2. damn lame.....

just played for 3 weeks only... but the most memorable race so far for me is vs a skyline34 named sj~sg at clementi. they r those ppl who hang out there everyday and that skyline34 driver is one of em. i tot i was gonna get blown away at akina DH. but surprisingly, she lost concentration and crashed at the very 1st sharp right. then i just kept calm, overtook her, then all the way to the finish was around 100m advantage. i didnt even drive fast after that, just made sure i didnt make any stupid mistakes to give her any chance. btw, the skyline34 driver was a gal

I vsed that car before, but it was her boyfriend who was driving it. Dammit, he challenged me to Akagi UH wet instantly, taking me to his best course. Didn't bother rechallenging, -

In ver. 2, there was one driver who had a DC2. He wanted to pump me because I was driving a Trueno. His fatal mistake? he chose Akina DH!
At that time, I was rather scared of all the ah bengs driving DC2s, Lan Evos, all the fast cars. I think you know how I felt that night. Also all the other people at the arcade watching! omg.
His accel was fantastic, like lighting. He kept on bumping the side at the turns and showing his middle finger at the screen when he bumped.
I overtook him on the 4 consecutive hairpins(gutter drift), but on the last part of Akina(the speed section), he accel so fast, that there was only 0.5 m between us when I finish! 2 close 4 comfort!
Nobody wanted to challenge me on Akina after that.
That was the ONLY time I beat a DC2.
Those ah bengs still try to pump me for level, but they never take Akina DH. -
