Hey.......today i read the newspaper here in Hong Kong, on the 2nd page of the city section, theere was an article about the intial D movie which they're going to start filming next year.

MANGA INSPIRATION DRAWS JAY CHOU
Taiwanese pop singer Jay Chau will be starring in a new movie called Initial D, a movie based on a Japanese manga comic strip. The comic is all about boys and their toys - that is, car racing on the twists and turns of a mountainside. Reason enough for it to have a huge following in Asia. Playing other leading rols will be Edison Chen Koon-hei, Stephen Fung Tak-lun and a yet to be chosen Korean actress.
The movie will be directed by Tsui Hark, famous for his Wong Fei-hung chop socky films, with shooting to begin in March. According to Tsui's wife, Nansun Shi (spokeswoman for film workshop, Tsui's production company): The budget is big; around US$6 million, we expect it to be a worldwide release so we are doing a lot of preparation work. We want to film the movie in Japan, and we are currently looking for the right car sponsor for the movie. Media Asia group will be the Asian distributor, and the film is likely to be released next year. -

People in HK race on the streets at night all the time! Not many accidents happen though. I race too sometimes.
But yea, the movie probbaly will make more people wanna race, but that doesn't mean that they shouldnt make the film! -

dun watch lor... not say i wan say ah.... if they dun produce this initial d movie, others will....
like Days of thunder, The fast and the furious, 2F2F, still got many more shows i forgot ler.... haha... its just a show... and above that, ppl usually race past midnight.. not much pedestrians..... well, as for the passengers, no one asked them to be there... for example, if i wanna race, i will go to a place deserted alone to race with others... passengers come at their OWN risk... if i crash i blame myself.. cuz i bo skillz lolx.. hahax..
