That's one reason Malaysia proposed to replace the causeway with a bridge and Singapore refused. A gap in the causeway can be repaired with a Leguan span. A gap in a tall bridge cannot.
Australia will not allow you to do live firing with DU rounds.
Malaysia: THeir excuse for building the crooked bridge is to benefit politically linked contractors.
In short term, singapore's air superiority combat planes can dominate the skies and troops able to secure johor.
In long term, malaysia has the edge because it can launch guerilla attacks from newly form militant groups. Modern armed forces have proven quite useless against hit and run tactics of guerillas as shown in Hezbollah vs IDF, Taliban vs USA, Viet Cong vs USA, Mujaheedin vs Soviet Union, Colombia vs FARC, Boko Haram vs Nigeria.
Australia: No need to fire DU rounds. Spore can store them and only use them when in war. Just like Israel, it has Jericho ballistic nuclear missles, but they have never been seen testing the missle.

However if you use uranium tip warheads, it can penetrate thru the armor of many conventional MBTs. During the gulf war, APC bradleys were used to fight T-72s with great efficiency using uranium tip warheads.
I doubt this ever happened.
Singapore has gundams too, just that they haven't been seen being tested.
so gfar i only saw navy and air force gundams
I noticed that whenever "Singapore tanks" are discussed, we get all kinds of stupid shit.
Coz we get stupid shit like how to attack malaysia all the time mah.

The wiki page may not be correct. The original source does not include Singapore. It may have been mistaken for South Africa.

Doesn't change the basis, US won't sell DU rounds to Singapore.

Have they not thought of using tank simulators?
precisely my point, singapore has apache helicopters so why need Leopard 2 tanks? Unless singapore has an attack minded mentality, if invaded, best defence is an offence. So using leopard 2 tanks to storm johor, secure water supply and key towns would be practical.
However deployment of leopard 2 into johor would be limited because only two bridges link spore to johor, if malaysia army engineers blow them up, SAF not able to get the tanks thru. So the best mode of deployment are LCACs.
If spore serious about its Leopard tanks, it should also complement with this for quick deployment:
Besides Apache, spore should look into other alternatives, the warthog tank killer and man-portable missle such as the Javelin - double shape charge.
Item 1, Singapore does have tank simulators (e.g. armour gunnery tactical simulator)
Item 2, MBT provides balance to the force structure.
Item 3, the endurance LSTs are actually class 60 capable. The tanks can also be transported by air.
Item 4, Singapore does have alternatives to the Apache for tank killing. That includes the entire fighter fleet with mavericks, paveways or 670 x GBU-54s aka LJDAMs (able to whack moving targets travelling at 110km/h). Each F-15 can carry 12+ LJDAMs, the RSAF doesn't need the A-10. Hermes 450 uavs to do laser designation. Army-wise, anti-armour cluster munition for arty (mortar & 155mm). Spike ATGM uses tandem warheads with top attack mode. If all else fails, one can try a matador on a hail mary. The idea of a balanced force is precisely to avoid over-reliance on any single platform.
E main reason S-tanks got replaced is tat it is a defensive tank, designed 2 dig in, it cant fire on e move, if u have 2 fight on your home ground it not a gd situ
Singapore small tank fleet exercising in Australia (Matilda)

The additional armor is installed for war and NDP.
is tankless:(

They are still very useful in a worst case scenario.Tempests with 105 mm gun with APFSDS can still kill a MBT.
Also AMX’s 75 mm gun is a useful infantry fire support asset. No light armor can survive HEAT round from a 75 mm
its feasible, but it must be measured against the cost of doing so, as well as the opportunity cost of doing so.
is it feasible to have fuel air explosive rounds?
Just to add, Indon hardly will attack as as its military purchases mirror SG.
For Land, It is getting L2s and Apache LB, i am afraid after evaluating through discussions/exercises with SG Army
Some of the Navy's old CPC very transferred to their Navy...
