Singapore develops new 8x8 artillery system
Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK) is carrying out feasibility studies on the 155 mmAdvanced Mobile Gun System (AMGS). The AMGS is based on an 8x8 cross-country
platform offering greater strategic mobility than a conventional tracked self-propelled (SP)
artillery system and lower operating and support costs. Gross system weight is 28 tonnes, including crew and ammunition, with a maximum road speed of 80 km/h, with 30 km/h across country

Its mobility and ability to tackle harsh terrains greatly enhanced by its 8 x 8 wheeled armored vehicular platform. The crew is well protected by the armour enclosing the gun.

is it capable of firing nuclear warheads or firing cluster munitions rounds?
this is because i favour heavy firepower or mass enemy casaulties
Singapore selling cheap and good arms, to those countries that can't afford to buy from the regular suppliers?
big money business!!! the people can starve, but the government will still spend.
still, i feel the deployment of this weapon against the enemy is the best:
where can i go and buy one ?

Two options.
You can buy the component parts around the world and assemble them yourself.
Or you can buy the complete unit from ST and you will get a discount.

Tamiya disclosed that they are still working on it...wait a while.
Don't believe everything Jane's says...they are just writers..
They need to fill up enough pages - so that the magazine looks proper to attract advertisers and keep subscribers entertained.
They are nothing more than tabloids...most of the time speculating, guessing....
I don't see a point/reason in SAF even thinking of having a 8x8 SP howitzer. If we wanted to, we would have bought off-the-shelf ... very unlikely
The Primus already serves the SP role and very well - since its tracked.
There's no need for wheeled versions - those are for countries who can't afford tracked SP guns... Do you see any first-world cutting edge military using them? No. Do you think they can fill any role Primus can't ? No.

If what you say is true,
1 Singapore would have bought off the shelf SPH and not developed Primus.
2. ST would not be exhibiting that wheeled gun model.
3 Those countries operating ARCHER and CAESAR would be poor countries.
4 Singapore would have bought the tracked M270 instead of the wheeled HIMARS.
