  XM-8 was based on G-36.

  This weapon imitates the same kind of long handle and telescoping stock.

  I dun need such exotic looking things, the less moving parts, the less chance of problems, and the less maintenance.

  I went to the Singapore Airshow and had tried my hands on all the weapons. They look very cool and easy to handle except for the submachine gun which has a really tight charging handle and requires great strengh to pull.

  top mounting picatiny is definitely the way to go. finally some red dots instead of the traditional super small FOV 1.5x optics.
