  Actually, you might end up both. Combat pilots have a finite "fitness span", and after that, they're usually hired by SIA. Yea, our airline pilots mostly graduated from fighter jets. Try to forget it before flying SIA, it'll just worry you. lol. Other than RSAF, is the Singapore Flying Club still open? I heard rumours of it closing down. Might want to check it out though.

  If you're under 25 you can sign up with YFC for free, it's a recruiting tool for RSAF (even the chief is an RSAF officer), so they try to cast their net as wide as possible. It's freeeeeee.

  Taking flying lessons on your own is an expensive hobby. Just ask the SFC (private club) instructors how much they make :)
