...from ST engineering. $68m contract should afford quite a lot of LSVs.

The LSV can mount the SRAM, the twin-Spike ATGM or GPMGs + Matadors.
It's certainly a lot.
I want one of those, are they road legal? I wonder if I can afford it + COE though.

Mindef uses it on the road so see no issue. You can check with vitas if you really want to know. However cost-wise, might be cheaper buying a porsche.
What class is the licence? You have better to luck vismod a truck.

Still class 3 license (<3000 kg & 7 passengers). LSV curb weight is 1600 kg, 6 passenger.
2800cc = higher COE though & fuel guzzler (for 700km range).

I think you mean higher road tax, B COEs tend to be cheaper.
At least you won't pay import tax.
And I think this thing is a diesel, certain conditions for owning it.

COE cat B (1.6l+) in Sep 2011 was $63k. Cat A was $51k. Open (or Cat E) was $65k.
Not sure where ST is building it. First batches came from Australia.
The thing uses a diesel engine. Diesel cars eg VW, got diesel tax = $1.25 per cc for road tax = $3,500 per year which apply to Euro IV standard (not sure which standard for LSV)
Probably need to take out the MOGEN which converts it to a hybrid. That probably may complicate registration.
