This is my recent setup on my DMR rifle . a Austrian STG58 FNFAL with an ELcan M145C optics! it shot very well at 1.5 MOA with Australian British Eadway Green and POrtugese Ball ammo! while the Malalysian and SOuth African Ball gives about 2 to 2.5 MOA.too bad I use up all my Singapore 7.62 ball if not we can see how well our ammo fare. This rifle will do good 600 yards shot. have not tried it at longer range yet!
Very light weight for a 7.62 rifle , no frills setup. mount is an ARMS picatinny mount and sling is an SAF M16 rifle sling. I had to remove the original STG58 bipod becasue it is mounted on the barrel and thus affect the harmonics of the rifle.also FAL have a very spongy trigger so will need to change out the trigger or tune it up.
DAveC!
You seriously need a bipod
Big-ass flash hider.
the original bipod is clip near to teh sling attachment on the barrel! it really hurt the consistancy and accuracy! one way is to change out the foreguard to a picatinny and mount a grippod!
