china can strike down japan's statalite and make their internet disable and launch a cyber attack first.
as previous guy mention that YUan dynasty cant even reach japan shore.cos that time yuan was from mogolia and they are those living at plain land.they noe nth about water.now is diff already.china had strong navy and backup money.japan no money and shortage of population now

Very easy for Japan to load SM-3 on their existing ships and shoot down China's satellites.
In a war China will have to watch not only US allies India, Taiwan and Korea, but the whole world which will help Japan, and even its own people.
= End of Chinese government.

U.S. and Japan are locked in an alliance. The U.S. legally bounded to assist Japan if its attacked and vice versa. You betchya the Kongo class DDGs will get SM-3 that can shoot down satellites if the U.S. want them to.
And to Alize's last sentence, that damn right. The Chinese Communist Party is damn bloody worried after all those Jasmine Revolutions.

If you look at chinese history, you will find that the chinese may kill each others by the thousands, but when they are invaded, they will join force. That you can take it to the bank.
If you ask the chinese today, if japan starts a war with china, will they go to war with japan or take the opportunity to get rid of their government? what do you think would be the answer??

I feel the Chinese people have been lied to everyday, they won't believe it even if Japan started the war. They get so much propaganda everyday, they see the government as a nuisance to put up with.
I know how brainwashed some Chinese are. I gave tuition to a 10 year old PR who hates Japan so much, I was able to discuss all the war crimes with him and he wants to nuke Japan as payback. But most surveys show Chinese are apathetic when it comes to politics, they just want their lives to get better.
China needs to sustain a growth rate of 8% (or a relatively high figure) to maintain internal security. China will have war or sanctions against G(20-1) and trade with few of them after, which the people won't tolerate. Their unity might be directed against the government.
Specifically, in which period were the Chinese united against foreign invaders? Certainly not WW2 or the opium wars, or even against the manchus.

He even knows China has 200 warheads! Since its advantageous for China to make the USA look warlike, they also told him USA has about 3000. Unfortunately they know everything about Chinese history, and little about world history. For example they think China won WW2 all by themselves.
That kid also knows alot of funny jokes about Japanese being stupid people who fled China many centuries ago. :)

While KMT and CCP supposedly suspended the Chinese Civil War, at best they were building up reserves to fight each other, more often they attacked each other. Chiang had to be physically threatened into this arrangement. The US put pressure on the KMT to use its arms shipments against the Japanese as intended, threatened to stop them if not.

You miss the point. Not all Singaporeans hate Japanese. Look at all the Anime loving otakus we have in here.
The point is that, it is inappropriate and to hold so much hatred to Japanese of a generation that has totally nothing to do with the atrocities of WW2. Yes, they should know of their history, but to say that Japan today, should be nuked (which they are on the way of being self-nuked), is just being darn uncivilised.
Conversely, I think Singaporeans dislike mainland Chinese. But thats only because they are coming here in droves and not fitting in. Yet, I don't see Singaporeans crying for Chinese blood or microwaved carcasses.

Only civil war some countries are facing now.
But war against another county is highly unlikely.
Look at china/taiwan or korean, they are threatening only, no war.

In modern times, China is more aggressive and violent than anti-nuclear Japan. They are willing to go to war with Taiwan (many of the babaric citizens aggressively supports war with Taiwan if they ever declare independence), just for the sake of the silly ideal of reunification; knowing fully well what suffering and cruel deaths a war would cost, those savages.

Why war?
Probably that country that being targetted has a poor defensive army but rich in natural resources such as oil, gold, etc...
If not, no one will want to go for war.
We go for war to fight terrorists and pirates.
