I think your post doesn't pay sufficient heed to religious sensitivities in Singapore and the region. I recommend that you tone down a bit.

Don't know why soldiers should be carrying 100 kg weights. Soldiers shouldn't be bogged down with too much gear unless its body armour.

I actually see no point in Malaysia or Indonesia wagging war with Singapore...
We'd most likely get help from the US if something like an invasion were to even occur...Please don't be paranoid just becoz they're both Islamic countries...

Whilst current neighbouring governments do not represent clear and present dangers, it is not realistic to rule out islamic extremism resulting in a change of government that would be hostile to Singapore. Then it would be too late to try to defend.
In view of the religious sensitivities, I would be careful to distinguish/define islamic extremism which is a perversion or exploitation of religion for nefarious purposes as opposed to Islamism which is a well-accepted practice of religion.
It may not take long for extremism to take hold. An example being the fall of the Shah of Iran.
It is not a question of Islamic countries but any neighbouring country which may include China, Japan, India, Thailand, Indochina etc, all of which have suffered quick change in Governments / Government direction before.

Every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction.
If we are to hold this true, then it would mean that all forms of extremism is caused by another. Extremism itself i believe is caused by insecurity. Insecurity makes one arm themselves. Another country feels insecure of the presence of arms, hence they too arm themselves more powerfully...it never ends..
This is why there will probably always be wars.
The only way things might change is if everyone truly work on global peace and neutrality or scrap nationhood and create a new world order...

Read the bible. When god first made the world, he made it in his image, yes, but after the serpent came, everything changed. Have u not read the bible? Noah's ark? the flood that wiped out humanity after adam and eve? Why god sent o save us? The book of john, mark, luke and mattew when jesus preached that no one can be sabed, only thru him because humanity is wicked? The trials and tribulations before jesus comes back when the devil will roam the world to corrupt man? Have u not read the bible? Today, some religious fanatics want to create a new world order, so they started war on the infidels.
It is noble to think of a global peace, it is idealistic to think that there can be a new world order, it is naive to think that human being will not go to war to achieve global peace and new world order.
