June 3 2010: HMS Dauntless is formally commissioned into Royal Navy service, at a ceremony in Portsmouth Naval Base. Neither HMS Daring, nor HMS Dauntless, is operational with its primary air defense weapon. UK MoD.
April 1 2010: Portsmouth’s The News confirms that the PAAMS test failures have been traced back to a design flaw with the Aster missiles, which are being redesigned.
Britain commissions HMS Dauntless destroyer into service. Now all it needs are working weapons.

The article also says that the problem is with a RECENT batch of Aster missiles. RSN's batch is probably an older batch and would not have that problem.
The RSN has also conducted live firing of the Asters as well.
